Have you ever bought tasteless berries from the supermarket? Berries that were probably picked underripe and shipped across the country or around the world.
At Heeks Farm, in Rougemont, NC, YOU pick the berries at their peak ripeness. If it’s not completely red it’s not ready!
WHAT WE GROW
At Heeks Farm we primarily grow strawberries. We also grow blackberries, blueberries, muscadines, elderberries, passion fruit, sugar snap peas, lettuce, flowers, basil, zucchini, and maybe more.
Most crops are available for you to pick, and occasionally, we’ll have them pre-picked for you.
